Since 1997, SFBI is home to entrepreneurs of all kinds who have access to the essential ingredients for success: a board-based network of partners and advisors, educational programs, and a multi-purpose work facility featuring a productive environment that encourages collaboration and risk-taking. Did you know incubated companies are four times more likely to survive the early years when risks are highest?
Whether you’re testing an idea, running a local business, building a startup, or preparing to scale, SFBI meets you where you are—and helps you move forward.
SFBI’s programs can support your
business by coaching you to plan,
manage, finance, promote,
market, and evaluate.
A network of people and resources is perhaps the most important element or “secret sauce” to Business Incubation.
At the Santa Fe Business Incubator, a supportive environment starts with a supportive place.
The Santa Fe Business Incubator regularly creates, hosts, and facilitates programs that
inspire entrepreneurs.
The Santa Fe Business Incubator is a not-for-profit organization for which earned revenues only cover 50% of its annual operating costs.
Stay connected. There are a number of different ways we share important information about our programs, clients, and events.
“In 2009, I started attending public workshops at the Incubator. I applied soon after and was thrilled to be accepted as a client. Since moving into the Incubator, Nurses with Heart Home Care has used the community connections, the advisors, and the programs to grow into the business we are today. None of that growth would have been possible without the Incubator.”
Carolyn Moore, CEO, Nurses with Heart Home Care
How can a business become an Incubator client?
There are four ways a startup business can participate as a client of the Incubator, depending on the needs:
Resident Client
Resident Clients rent office, lab, warehouse, and/or production space in the Incubator’s 30,000 square foot facility, have use of the collective resources, meeting rooms, and participate in programs and events.
Affiliate Client
Affiliate Clients do not house their business with the Incubator facility but are entitled to use the meeting rooms, collective resources, and participate in programs and events.
Workspaces
To fit the needs of solopreneurs, freelancers, and professionals in Santa Fe, the SFBI offers flexible workspaces for a change of venue.
RUNWAY
RUNWAY is a pre-incubation program for individuals who have a great idea but need help forming it into a viable business model.
