SFBI's BioScience Lab is a fully equipped shared facility purpose-built for early-stage life science companies. In a region where wet lab access is scarce and the cost of building private lab space is prohibitive, the BioScience Lab fills a critical gap: a professional, licensed environment to advance science without the overhead of outfitting your own facility. The lab is equipped with both specialized and standard bench equipment, covering needs from early R&D through pre-clinical testing. It is designed to serve multiple tenants simultaneously through a shared-use model, with two tiers of access depending on your stage and relationship with SFBI. Bench space is currently priced between $1,000 and $1,200 per bench — contact us for current availability and pricing. The lab sits in SFBI's 30,000-square-foot facility, giving tenants access to the incubator's full support ecosystem: business advising, peer networks, connections to regional capital sources, and proximity to researchers and technology transfer offices at LANL, UNM, and other institutions.
