Business Incubation
SFBI's core incubation program pairs every client with a structured growth plan, a dedicated navigator, and Santa Fe's deepest network of volunteer business advisors. Client companies have created more than 1,000 jobs and a $100 million+ economic impact in Santa Fe over the past decade.
Small Business Pre-Incubation
Runway Program
A six-week decision-making program for early-stage small business founders. Pressure-test your idea, validate your customer, and leave with a 90-day execution roadmap — before you spend a dollar you can't afford to lose.
Life Sciences
BioScience Program
One of the only shared wet labs available to entrepreneurs in northern New Mexico. Fully equipped since 2014, the SFBI BioScience Lab gives life science startups an affordable proving ground for R&D, IP validation, and the path to commercialization.
Prototyping & Digital Fabrication
Process & Product
The SFBI Advanced Fabrication Center gives makers, manufacturers, and product-based businesses access to professional digital fabrication tools, CAD software, and engineering support — all under one roof in Santa Fe.

SFBI is launching its inaugural Entrepreneur-in-Residence program and actively seeking the right founding EIR. If you are an experienced founder ready for your next venture — and want to help shape Santa Fe's startup ecosystem while you build — this program is being designed for you.
Next Generation
Young Entrepreneurs
A monthly founder community for entrepreneurs under 40 who are building in Santa Fe. The 2026 pilot cohort runs May–December. Practical tools, peer accountability, and real relationships with founders doing the work here — not startup theater, not a pitch competition.
